Beautiful 1970s Janice Wainwright embroidered ensemble comprising of a slinky midi length dress and matching jacket - S
In a Viscose jersey that hangs beautifully and both pieces have Janice's signature embroidery.
The dress has panels on both front and back with vivid butterflies and flowers in contrasting turquoise, purple and electric blue. This is repeated in stripes on the straps and the top of the bodice. It's cut quite straight but drapes like a dream
The trapeze jacket has the same embroidery as the dress on the shoulders which are semi sheer, and also matching piping on the openings and also on the cuffs of the bell sleeves.
In great vintage condition. There has been a small repair made to the dress at the back as shown but this isn't too obvious due to the drapes of the dress plus the jacket covers this as well. The embroidery has startednto unravel in places as well but again not totally obvious. Sold as vintage
