Vintage 70s Smock Dress

Comfortable and warm Smock dress dating drom the 70s in an Acrylic Wool Mix Purple, arranged in vertical stripes throughout the dress.
The dress has no fastenings, just throw over your head! The dress hangs from the top of the bust into an A-line shape. Definition is achieved at shoulders through top sleeve gathering, echoed in gathering on sleeve cuff.
Neckline has Peter Pan collar and V-shaped opening with ties that can be used to secure a thin bow at the collar.
Grey/purple buttons secure the cuffs.
Label provides mixed fabric detail and dress origin – made in France

Condition: In great condition, slight pull on fabric on lower front.
